Edition #1 | April 2023

A message from our Portfolio Director

Welcome to the first edition of our Women’s Health Insights Series newsletter!

The WHIS team and I are delighted to be bringing you a quarterly newsletter which will collate industry perspectives, deep-dive news blogs, product launches, and thought-pieces from our ever-expanding network.

This is the space where we will be taking the quarterly temperature of the women’s health industry, from the industry itself and sharing it back with you, in the hope of sparking connections between businesses with similar challenges and creating visibility for partnership opportunities. As the leading women’s health industry community, we will be bringing together insights, news, and perspectives not just from start-ups and Femtech, but big pharma, medical device companies, consultants, CROs, payors and more.

I’d like to thank all of this months’ contributors, and in particular our partners: The Bowdoin Group, EIT Health, PRIA Healthcare, and Mewburn Ellis. If you are interested in partnering for Q2, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.

In this first edition, you’ll find exclusives on the role of women in leadership as a catalyst for equity and growth, male care innovation as the next opportunity to balance the scales in reproductive health, as well as perspectives on the hiring opportunities in this industry.

Happy reading and see you in July for edition #2!
Rebecca Baldwin
